Cabaret Dancer Ornament – The art of cabaret dates back to the late 15th century, showcasing music and entertainment in true French fashion. Performers of cabaret and its sub-genres are known as Vedettes, French for stars. In honor of this classic form of vaudeville entertainment, our Vedettes feature all the pomp and glamour one might expect in a classic tavern off the Rue de Ville.
Meet Velma, a quick-witted and sharp tongued Vedette clothed in dark blue accents. Featuring glittered details, a classic cabaret hat, and of course, gorgeous red lips.
This design is a Kenzies of London original, new for Winter 2022.
STORING GLASS BULBS
Each bulb is handcrafted by skilled artisans in Poland. Each ornament starts as a mold crafted from clay and casted into metal. These molds are then used as vehicles to shape into blown glass figures. Expert painters often spend hours carefully painting and detailing each piece with delicate hands.
Because of the nature of blown glass ornaments, it is recommended to keep them stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure the life of the ornament by storing in rigid boxes filled with padding. Please note that these ornaments are not toys and can break if mishandled, causing injury.
