AN OLD FASHIONED CHRISTMAS
Citrus Slices Garland – In the old days before the days of glass ornaments, dried and whole fruits were used as ornaments on the Christmas tree. Fruit was expensive, especially since it was an imported food that came from the Middle East through sea trade. Decorating a tree with fruits meant that the family had more than enough to provide and celebrated that abundance during the holidays. Our beautiful mixed fruits garland takes inspiration from this old world tradition and features vibrantly colored sugared fruits in a variety of flavors. Perfect for almost any theme!
This design is a Kenzies of London original, new for Winter 2022.
ABOUT OUR GLASS GARLANDS
Each bulb is handcrafted by skilled artisans in Poland. Each ornament starts as a mold crafted from clay and casted into metal. These molds are then used as vehicles to shape into blown glass figures. Expert painters often spend hours carefully painting and detailing each piece with delicate hands. Individual pieces are then connected together to form our incredible garlands that reflect integrity and craftsmanship down to the details.
Unlike other garlands, the ornaments on our strands are larger than average. Kenzies of London believes that an investment should be seen in your holiday decor, not hidden. The statement figural beads on our garlands are designed as showpieces that measure on average of 2-3″ on their longest side.
Because of the nature of blown glass garlands, it is recommended to keep them stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure the life of the ornament by storing in rigid boxes filled with padding. Please note that these ornaments are not toys and can break if mishandled, causing injury.
